TRAINING YOUR MIND
OVERVIEW

This is a lecture that was presented at a mindfulness retreat in 2021.It explains how you can use a meditative practice to train your mind. You rightly are the master of your mind, and your mind is wanting to serve you. However, your mind can’t serve you well if it doesn’t know what you want nor if it doesn’t get any support in learning how to do what you want.

Rightly, servants deserve to be trained, just like any worker you might employ. You can’t expect a worker to know what to do if you do not give them instructions nor if we don’t provide them training.

This video explains how you can provide your mind training and practice to wait on you for instructions.
